I have finally finished a drawing
The celtic pattern in the background is inspired by a carved stone in Denmark.

Nydelig, syntes du har gjort en god jobb med foldene i kjolen, ser veldig delikat ut^^ Liker ogsΓ₯ godt art nouveau hΓ₯ret og det keltiske sirkel tingen.
Syntes den egentlig passer pΓ₯ hvit bakgrunn, den ser veldig ren ut. Men kanskje en art nouveau bakgrunn hadde passet? en litt mer dus farge eller noe. *rant*

Beautiful! The title attracted my click to it. You asked about the background. Maybe a blue background could do it but just to emphasise it, not to take away our focus from her. Sort of a royal blue to have the subject well depicted (because there is purple around the top so it shouldn't be a colour that is too similar to purple) and blue is a peaceful colour.

Wow, nice pencil work, pencils or prisma colors? have you ever tried laying you colors down 1st on water color and then pencil? your colors will pop more.

It's mostly hard color pencils, and some pastels.. I'm not quite sure what prisma colors is?
I do have aquarelle pencils, but I haven't tried much of blending them with water... But I'll certainly do more of it.

nope just go to any art store you can buy individual colors or set of 72 colors.... and not the water color pencils... begin to incorporate real water color, lil or no tooth in the paper... smoother the better...

I don't think art noveau stuff demands a background. It's good by itself too.

Dette er en nydelig tegning. Kjempevakkert mΓΈnster. Stemningen er ogsΓ₯ flott i bildet. Jeg fΓΈler at det klarer seg ganske bra uten bakgrunn, jeg. Men du kan sikkert prΓΈve ... Uten bakgrunn fΓ₯r du fram figuren bedre, tror jeg. HΓ₯ret og klΓ¦rne er veldig flott tegnet.
