This is really lovely. Did you try blacking out the entire background? I think that mid-tone grey to the right is distracting from the dimensions of the form since it matches the midtones of the figure and flattens it out a bit. Just a thought. But that's the only thing I'd experiment with. It's a beautiful piece.
