Description So I finally decided to make one of these.

1. Robert Bateman: If I had to choose one artist who influenced me the most in my artistic life, it would be him. He has been a huge inspiration to me since I was very young. Every time I see one of his wildlife paintings, I end up lost for words.

2. Daniel Smith: I found out about this artist within the last year or two, and I must say he has quickly become one of my favourite artists of all time. His painting are just amazingly beautiful.

3: Kim Penner: Since I was little, I've always looked up to Kim Penner as a source of inspiration as an equine artist. I remember the first time when I saw her paintings, and I fell in love.

4: Terry Miller: Another one of my faves that I found out about recently. His pencil work is stunning and I never get tired of looking at it.

5: Armin Mersmann: I promised myself I wouldn't put any DeviantArt artist on this Influence map, but I had to make an exception for him. He has been on of the biggest influences for my pencil work. It's hard to explain, but man I love his work. His DA is:

6: Karmel Timmons: And yet another artist I found out about recently. She's my biggest inspiration when it comes to graphite equine work. Her horse drawings are just breath taking.

7: Mike Sibley: This artist has really made me think about how I draw with my pencils. His tutorials are extremely well thought out and he has helped me with my technique more so than anything or anyone else.

8: Feng Zhu: He's pretty much the reason why I've been contemplating heading into the world of Industrial Design. I love his landscapes and his tutorials on Youtube are great!

9: Dreamworks (Traditional Animation): Dreamworks has made some of my favourite films of all time. The two that stand out the most are Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron and Prince of Egypt. I was obsessed with Spirit when I was little, probably a little too much... And Prince of Egypt is just epic on every scale.

10: Disney (Traditional Animation): ... Need I say much? Disney has been a huge influence to many in the world, including myself. Movies such as the Lion King never get old. I can watch them constantly and still laugh and cry. lol

11: Carl Brenders: One of my favourite wildlife artists, his paintings are awesome! I loved his work as a kid and continue to do so.

12: Naruto / Masashi Kishimoto: I could have just been generic and said anime in general, but Naruto was pretty much the reason why I got into anime and it has been such a huge influence on my life since I got into it 5 years ago. I love all sorts of anime now, but Naruto was my "first love" and still is one of my favourites.
