maybe it's like this:staring at a snow globe in summer
smudged fingerprints on the outer
glass; you can't see anything
but the people who touched it before you
and it's just an old sliver of life
under the fog, a fresh fall always drifting in

I love what this communicates just through the image. There's no confusion, or straining to get there either, but it still hits you like sudden fresh air. You have such a knack for that with your writing, I look up to it, and look forward to your posts.

your poetry feels the exact way i always love for poetry to feel.
it's kind of like lying among a bed of crumpled feathers in a huge, empty warehouse, lit by moonlight through broken windows, and a snow of dust motes.
it is both sad and comforting. peaceful and entirely too silent.
