Four things before you start reading this:

1. I've written down my headcannon for proxy characters and Slenderman himself. However I will refer to him as the Operator in the references though. Link to my headcannon.
2. All my Proxies have some sort of mental illness. I believe that this makes it much easier for the operator to posses and recruit them, as I stated in my headcannon.
If I did not portray the mental illness correctly just comment down below. I did try my best to portray them correctly.
3. I also added more information about them being a proxy.
4. If you have read the previous refs I do want ot mention that I changed the relationship with others a bit, by adding less characters but more info about the relationship.

The person's voice may also sound strained or they may be nearly unable to speak. Onset is often gradual and the condition is lifelong.
Al had struggle talking since childhood as his voice would suddenlu vanish. It only got worse after he went missing.

Benjamin is a simple, straightforward man. He was a rather distant parent, who barely let Alejandro know that he loved him. He did say that he was proud at him whenever he achieved something like nailing a test at school. When Al dissapeared Ben wished he had done things better as a father.

Mother: Maria Ramirez-Diaz
Maria is a loving woman, who has a great passion for cooking. She has her own tiny restaurant. Al definitely has his cooking skills from her and was very close with her. It was hard for her to leave her only child with her sister. It even was harder for her knowing her child dissapeared under her sister's care. She doesn't talk with Felicia or Bruno anymore.

Aunt: Felicia Ramirez
Felicia is the youngest of the Ramirez sisters and always in for a game. She would often organise a family game night with board games and delicious snacks. She feels horrible about Al's dissapearance and does try to reach out to her older sister.

Uncle: Bruno Conan
Felicia's boyfriend and father of her son. Bruno was a pretty intimidating man who was 6'4 ft tall, but he has a big heart. He treated Alejandro like his own son and Al was much closer to him than he was with his own father. Bruno blames himself for Al's dissapearance as he was the one to check if there was someone in the house. He feels as if he missed something or didn't look hard enough.

Younger cousin: Jacob Conan
Jacob is 4 years younger than Al and like a little brother. Jacob is into soccer and hopes to make it his career. He is known to be curious and quite a prankster. He is still loking for his older cousin till this day.

Other relationships:
Best friend: Alayah Lorizio
Al and Aly work with each other a lot, due to both being technology proxies. Whenever there is nothing to do, both of them will play a game or just chat with each other.

Friend: Mel-Ling Yong
Al didn't like Mel-Ling at all at the beginning. The more the two started seeing and talking each other the more they enjoyed each other's company. Both do like to gossip a lot about the other proxies.

Rival: Agata Montez
Al doesn't dislike Agata, but he doesn't like her a lot either. The two can get along at times, but often make a competition about the silliest things. Of course both of them want to win.

Al absolutely loves his big teddy bear and often is the dominant one. Omar does serve as Alejandro's body guard. He often joins Al at missions despite not being a proxy. He just wants to make sure Al will be safe.

Future Child

Daughter: Lea Diaz (By me/NayaCat and InsomniacArisen )
Lea was found by Omar when she was just 4 years old. When he took her home, Alejandro immediately loved the little girl. She told them that her mommy and daddy didn't want her and that she hated her new ones. The men decided to keep the little girl as their own.

Short story
When Alejandro was younger, his parents took him to a walk through their favourite place in the forest. The place where his father asked his mother to marry him. Al walked a little behind his parents but not too far. When they turned away from him for a few seconds and turned back to him. He was suddenly gone. Both started to freak out as they were unable to find their son. It was impossible for Al to walk away in that short amount of time. He was just 6 at this time, if he did walk away his parents would surely find him. There was a big search for Al for weeks, all hope seemed lost. Against all odds however, he was found alive. He hidden himself in a cave, he was scared for his life of something. When people asked him what happened he was unable to clearly explain it, as his voice would often disappear in mid-sentence. When he was asked to repeat himself again, he refused.

Since that day Al heard noises outside, which his parents were unable to hear. It seemed to get closer the older he got. His parents were worried for his well-being and decided to help him move to his aunt and uncle. It was hard for them to leave him there, but they would visit him a lot. They were happy to see that Al was doing much better.

One night Al woke up to a loud growling noise outside. He stood up and saw a tall figure standing outside. still tired he walked to his uncle's and aunt's room and tried to wake them up. He told them that someone was outside so his uncle decided to walk downstairs. He came back a few minutes later and claimed he saw nobody, telling Al that he might've dreamed it. As his uncle walked back to bed. Al's younger cousin Jacob woke up to the noise and decided to see what was going on. Al told him about what he saw and what heard. He told him that he won't go to bed until he could proof to his uncle that there is someone or something outside. Not wanting to hurt his older cousins feelings, Jacob decided to stay up with Al. They decided to grab a camera and start recording.

Jake had fallen asleep and woke up to a scream from outside. His parents rushed down stairs to find that the backdoor was open and Alejandro was gone. All they found was the camera. They weren't able to see much in it as it was very static, but they were able to hear noises.

Alejandro Diaz still hasn't been found, The video was never deciphered. His parents blamed his aunt and uncle for everything.

Notes/facts
His alias is inspired by the Mexican celebration " Dia de muertos ". So is his last name.
He is my only gay character who is most likely like the ''stereotypes''.
In his first designs he wore a scarf because he always had a sore throat. I decided that I wanted to change it and came across a youtube clip about Spasmodic dysphonia. I decided that it could work even better for Al and decided to change his backstory. Which in my opinion is now much more interesting.
Al is known to be a flirtatious guy but easily get flustered when someone flirts to him.
You may not see it in this ref, but he has huge scars on his back. This was caused by the Operator as Al had a bigmouth towards him. I might draw the scars and I'll add a link here.
