also for lineart, i think it helps to set the stabilizer to a really high number! mine is at 15

thank you very much sora ;u; im still trying to get used to it, i've only done a few things so far and i find that sketching is really hard because i tend to move my hand in weird ways on the page;;;;
also the magic of filters amazes me. i wish i could do that with traditional art holy shi t.
im not entirely sure what the stabilizer is??? forgive me;;; it's probably one of the pen settings. i had a friend add some different brushes to my program, i needed a lot of help hahaha. i feel like one of those old people who need help like "how do i turn on a computer?????"

yeah it is kinda funky when u first start digital art! and it makes sense bc its a totally new medium so it takes a while to get used to O:
ikr filters are the best!! i can never feel like a drawing is finished unless ive put something on overlay lmao
the stabilizer basically makes your lines move slower so that they can be more steady! it's in the top right corner of sai (assuming that ur using sai haha)
tbh i dont know much about special brushes O: i always just use the default ones,,
and its ok lol, you'll get used to it rly fast! digital art is super fun, everything looks rly shiny when its finished *v*

i feel like i'm getting used to it more and more! the layers stuff gets kinda confusing because i end up not knowing what layer im on hahaha;;;
and i am using sai! it's actually a really cool program??? i had a photoshop class once so im familiar with some of the keyboard shortcuts so that definitely makes it easier.
i'll try adjusting the stabilizer then! what kind of tool do you use for your lines???? ,,,,

YEAH layers get real confusing real fast lol a lot of times i just have to go thru and click the visibility thing for each layer and see which part of the drawing disappears, to figure out which layer its on lmao
sai rly is great!! i have photoshop too plus i have adobe illustrator but both of them are weird to me?? theyre useful for a few things, like making gifs or making a transparent background but otherwise nah
and tbh ive been switching around the tool that i use for lineart a lot lately LOL,,, i used to just use the binary tool 4 everything but then i started not doing lineart at all?? and sometimes i would use the pen tool for lineart but for the past couple of weeks ive been using the marker tool for everything. im just v unsatisfied with my art lmao

i dont have any other programs on this computer hahahaha. it was difficult enough to get sai and so i guess its just how it goes.
its probably gonna be a long time before i try to make gifs or anything ahaha.... honestly its so hard to adjust already.
ive been using crayon for my lineart. it's like.... more rough than the other ones lol. i think i should just try everything to see what i like best
but don't be unsatisfied! your stuff is getting better and better. i love watching it improve

i havent used the crayon tool much but it seems nice!! i think maybe when im drawing it just bothers me that its not opaque? lmao idk
but yeah its a good idea to try everything!
