Wow. You blend simple details with complex chaos in this one. The colors in the background seem to be faces in spots, and yet the two figures aren't overwhelmed by their surroundings. This is just really cool, to be honest.

Freedom, like all things, is a matter of opinion. If your movements are not your own, but you don't care, are you free? If you have total choice in your life, and all paths are open to you, but each frightens you beyond movement, are you free then?
Personally, I'll make whatever choices I can, do my best with the ones I can't, let things be, and smile back when death comes.

I don't doubt that sometimes the path will snag at you and impede you, but think on this: They say to stop and smell the roses, right?
Maybe that's why roses have throns: to snag you and force you to smell them.

Hmm, kind of like the roses are life's little wake-up calls, or important moments, that we shouldn't hurry by? Sometimes it's good to slow down, or to even change course.
