Commission for
PROCESS
Whimsy is made from snow white and ash minky with brushed yarn hair.
She is approx 12" tall from head ear tips. Her eyes, mouth and markings were embroidered with a Bernina 830LE embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software and feature gradients. The eyes files were digitised by me. Her pattern was also designed by me. Her horns are resin cast.
Please do not ask for the pattern, under no circumstance will I be giving it out.

Phew! This girl was such a challenge. I knew she would be complicated, but even then I underestimated her. That brushed yarn especially was SO time consuming and really rough on the wrists. Several days brushing yarn to make all the hair and fluff. I probably wont take another commission with that again soon but I have to say I'm thrilled with how it looks on her, so fluffy and lifelike. This gal has so many crazy details. Her markings, her hair, her ears, her horns, her jewelry. I hope the pics do her justice

How did you attach the resin horns? I would be worried about them falling off and breaking. Or sagging a bit. They look so stable.

You've done it again, Naz! She is simply stunning! Looks very lifelike too--Like she could just start walking towards you at any moment! How do you go about attaching the yarn in a way that is secure and not super bulky? I've been thinking about this ever since I saw pictures of you brushing out all that yarn...ouch!

She looks amazing! The hair and horns in particular are beautiful. I wondered a couple of times about making hair for plushes with wig wefts (you can order individual wefts from wig websites that are stitchable) but I have no idea if it would be worth it.

That tail looks absolutely whimsical and gorgeous, like a fantasy brush. Yarn wefts may be a pain to prepare but damn do her hair streaks and fluff look amazing.
I love the bubbled flower look of the inside of her horns - it adds such a neat mystical touch~
