A brief introduction to the Bleed-in effect, a fact of life that permeates through all of Werebeast life, from werebug to were-elephant to the long-dead were-dinosaurs, all werebeasts of Urvara experiences a phenomenon known as the “Bleed-in Effect”.

It’s essentially the phenomenon where certain behavioural and physical aspects of a were-person’s animal form “bleeds-in” to their human ones. It can be something like a craving for certain foods, behaving in a way that feels out-of-character for a person, but more in-line with what the wild animal of a person’s beast form is based off, all the way to having the physical advantages of an animal form that stays when they’re human (like extreme heat tolerance or being able to eat and survive only on meat or another food).

Some bleed-ins are more to the individual, while other bleed-ins are more universal, like the legendary immune systems of were-crocodilians. Societies tend to manage Bleed-In in various ways, from mock fights for those itching to let out some tension, to self-expression in types of art, or having festivals where people get to drink whatever they like to their heart’s content.

In future entries, the Bleed-In Effect will be explored in further detail, as well as referred to more often.
