It looks cool, though it would've been nice if the machine-gun firing animation had a few more frames to tween between (Like Metal Slug's Heavy Machine-Gun animations).

yeah, the comissions i am working on serves as moar portfolio shit lol.... I am working on lots of outside stuff atm... so yeah.. busy busy busy....right now that i have GTFOing from army and freelancing now till probably next year to begin my school semester.... =O

Pretty damn detailed. When do you make the decision to use pencil tools for mech's instead of the brush tool since the original G.U.S. seemed more freehanded?

G.U.S characters was paint brush, so the mech should probably stick to the same style. a complete animation gotta stick to one style right?
I dunnoe, I probably use the pencil tool for mechs cause i prefer the sharpness... its actually more of a preference. it can be one day i feel like using the pencil tool, the the next day fuck it, i go for brush on another one.....
