THIS IS THE FIRST DEBUT OF THE YELLOW NOSELESS CAT WITH ROUND WHITE EYES AND WIELDS A PARANG's FLASH, THE FLASH WHICH STARTED IT ALL...... LOLI resubmit to alter minor stuff....
Finally up....
but its a very big file of 4MB....
even if u think 4MB is no big deal, my flash lasted only for like 2 to 3mins depending on how u play it....which is a BIG issue....like, if a 4MB flash, should last for 8mins or so, but my 4MB flash lasted only bout 2mins....
all because of this frame by frame thing... Can anyone who do frame by frame animations, tell me how to compress ur movie file size cause this is too ridiculous for such a short animation with such a big file size, there are no songs in it ecxcept for a loop midi wave file and effects only, Every thing is done frame by frame.
and yah...please click the DL arrow button if u dont want to see anything weird happening in this flash, cause from my experience, button scripts will tend to go crazy if the flash is watch within the DA interface.....its best u DL it......
and yes...its a 18+ mature animation due to explict blood and gore and violence....most at the last scene actually...

I don't think I'm satisfied with this. The second the first counter button came up I didn't expect it, tried to click it, missed and Meow Meow was killed. At that point the movie felt more like a game and it was up to me to keep the cat alive but the counter buttons came so quickly and in basically random areas so I wasn't able to same Meow Meow on any of the first tries and I ended up feeling horrible afterward.

my god it's deliciously horrible. my frustration at not having cat-like reflexes is somewhat soothed by the resulting amount of gore.

That was awesome! And interactive to boot - great stuff! Your ideas are well thought through, as usual, and the action is typically frenetic. I particularly liked your use of slow-motion to help explain some of the faster plays - clever idea, and well implemented. Sound is to your usual standard, but have you ever considered giving your characters voices? Perhaps this would be detracting of their style... Word bubbles are acceptable, though.
Your characters are to your usual quality; simplistic, yet surprisingly complex in their repertoire of movement. Nice scaling, and manipulation of timing/speed. The impact flash screens are a neat touch, and work really well. The dynamic camera shifts are surprisingly spectactular, given the simplicity of the character drawings. The partitioned close-up overlays are quite uniquely developed (particularly in the frst instance!), and are always a welcome diversion from the hectic mayhem. The carmine hues are characteristically eye-catching.
The viewer certainly needs cat-like relflexes to see this through, huh - I missed those action buttons a couple of times each before I was successful in making advancements (but that's the point, right?). Thankfully, the action is good fun and well worth a repeat sitting. Having a chapter listing at the end of the movie was a fantastic idea, as few viewers would be bothered sitting through the whole thing just to see the other ending, I'm sure. Good thinking! I loved the music you chose to accompany the closing credits - funny stuff. I noticed that some of the action towards the end (chapter four) was from previous work, which I thought was a clever inclusion; something for the fans? A typically gruesome outcome results, no matter which path the viewer takes. Hee hee! The final freeze-frame of Dog Dog with his severed limb concieved beneath a shroud is precious - whatever you do, do not resurrect the arm... give him a prosthetic replacement in future instalments (it offers more potential).
I don't know why everyone's making such a big deal about your work being animated frame-by-frame: THAT'S THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE DONE!! Having said such, it is good to see from time to time (animators are getting so lazy these days...). Tops marks to you, and keep up the amazing work!

well, this is the first debut of meowmeow. and my first hard core FBF animation....
though, it was good, in my humble opionion, after reviewing it recently, i find that it was quite slow in the beginning.. ^^
It was quite a slow start and then suddenly it ends so fast...but hey..maybe i saw this too much already, but anyway...
did u check out the "special fight" edition? its base on this too, but a revamp fight. about dog dog losing its arm, yah, its replaced by a mechanical missile pod launcher, u can see him using in the meowmeow Gifmation too I did.... all can be found in my gallery...

Yeah, I've checked out the lot now - great stuff all round! Not sure if I agree that this particular piece is overly sluggish to get rolling; if you just jump straight into the frenetic action, you'll more than likely leave your audience behind. But everyone has their own opinion. Anyway, well done again, and I look forward to your next instalment of domesticated animal carnage.
