I find the design of the blade on the right side to be really original and creative. I mean, usually, when blades or swords, we just slash with just a swipe. But that design that you'd got is really nifty - it's like the blade itself can bend into several parts. Is this based on any existing design... it kinda reminds me of those secret ninja weapons that aren't found in historical records

its not suppose to be used as a chain, one side is joined, so its a fixed pivot position, so it cant frail about like a chain. people said the sword idea is from the anime bleach, but i didnt watch it, though i did saw a sword something like that, though the sword was like a chain. for this sword, it can be formed into a half circle of defence, notice that there is a handle bar on the pivot edge, it can be held on, so both hands are holding on it.
though, its still just impratical, pratical only in the cartoon world lol and plot devices.
