Sketchage between the comms. Drawing humanoids is so hard seriously why do artists do this to themselves.
If you see someone drawing humans give them a hug and tell them everything is going to be OK. I put more than five hours in the initial sketching alone, desperately trying to make it look not-trash into the wee hours of the morning lol. Iβm not sure when I can finish this but Iβd like to someday.

I will have to agree with everyone who says this is a great sketch and I look forward to seeing the finished product. But I will also have to say that at this stage sunsets head seems a bit out of proportion with her body and hair. This is communing from somebody who can't draw a half decent stick figure, so I wouldn't take my ideas to seriously. Love your work, hope to see more.

I'd say smaller. Like move the back of her hair in closer to her face.

perhaps position the head a little closer to the shoulders? or bring up the shoulders a little? poni and EqG have proportionally huge heads, but her neck seems a bit long maybe?

I'm trying to do the same thing right now and I'm having the same problems-- going from ponies to humans is ridiculously hard. This looks awesome though!

Humans are actually my favorite to draw, but they can definitely be real hard when it comes to trying to find the right posing, and getting everything correct. It always takes me longer, but I like how it turns out most of the time, compared to my pony drawings.Β
