Be sure and download for maximum resolution! Lots of little details. :]Nearly one year after And Magic Is Heresy and Commissar Sparkle finally graces my gallery again.
This was immensely fun to draw despite the absurd amounts of heresy that come with crossing 40K and MLP. 
I'd begun sketching around two months ago but only within the last week did I finally start - *BLAM!* Heresy will not be tolerated!Loosely based on The Dark Ones and it's sequel.

I can't stop staring at this. This is just... pure grit. A true reflection of the brutality of warhammer, and of the veteran, war-wracked gaze of our Princess Commissar, Twilight. A mix of truly horrifying... and luring admiration.

While the bolt pistol is the common armament of a Commissar, a little known fact of the matter is, that any Commissar who has proven their worth in battle has the option of trading out their bolt pistol for a plasma pistol, although the plasma pistol is only used in battle, and they keep their bolt pistol for executions.

Probably due to the surprisingly similar backstories of the two settings.

Simply a bionic replacement for her normal hoof she lost, either in battle or due to her plasma pistol over heating. A power hoof would be much larger. We tried to convince him to give her one in the stream.
