An unknown pony nation from the west - possibly across the sea. Canterlot simply received a letter declaring war that was quickly followed by the loss of contact with several coastal settlements. Royal Guard were hot on the heels of missing investigative parties, suffering heavy casualties at the hooves of ponies armed with unfathomable machines and revolutionary firearms that could send rounds downrange within seconds of each other.

Ok. I read the first two chapters and they're GREAT! You really know how to get into the mind of a soldier, cuz I'm pretty darn sure that's what most of them are thinking anyway("killing is horrible but I can't let my commrads die." sorta thing.) Keep up the good work!
