Because all anime-inspired characters need trenchcoats! :3Definitely one of the stranger subjects I've been asked to draw, although I'm thankful that my buddy has provided me with practice. Now it's up to you boys and girls to critique me and help me to get better!

That's not a bad idea! I ought to draw people as well as ponies, haha. Man - I tossed this up three years ago... I'd just finished junior year in high school! I feel old, lol.

There's only one way to get to your desired level of skill, and that's nonstop practice! Draw something -doesn't matter what it is- every single day. Figure studies must become your new best friend that you secretely loathe and, above all, never give up. People have asked me to teach them, but all I can give is the advice above. There's no secret and no getting around it. Practice makes perfect, my friend.

Thanks! I've been practicing everyday. But between guitar practice and drawing practice I can only draw one thing. Awesome advice!
