Looks like Nightwing got a message from Starfire. She just got an iPhone and is testing the heat resistance.Another piece. Topic Starfire from DC comic fame.
PS: iPhone effect all done from scratch. Tried to match it as best i could. not quite confident in it yet.
Wanted practice doing lava and heat effects. Tell me how it looks. Any tips on doing fire and heat effects always welcome.

The only critique I could offer is show more of nightwing's hand. Right now it's borderline looking like his hand holding the phone.

yeah, I'm a bit dissapointed in my self for that. The original plan was to have most of his hand and a counter with tissue and lotion on it in the BG. for real. lol but i just got too lazy. Anyway, yeah completely agree.

lol well ok since it's starting to bother people. As much of a stretch as this may seem its not an impossible pose. The anatomy is not that far off from real life. Her top is not completely turned all the way around and her ass is not completely facing front. Her shoulders are almost perpendicular with her hips and most people I know who are not that flexible should be able to twist their body around until their shoulders are perpendicular to their hips, unless you have back problems. Go ahead do it your self if you have a healthy back, turn your shoulders perpendicular to your hips...see, its ok, and she isnt even that far. Anyway she's an alien, we dont know how far she can twist. lol So no, there is not a problem with her back the anatomy is fine except for the mistake i made with the middle of her back where i should have taken it in some. Other than that the pose is anatomically feasible.

well man, I still think that's not possible because you're twisting her back a lot and showing almost all her right boob! that's not possible man... That it's just a way the comic artist from the 80 and 90's drew every woman for the covers... to show her really sexy, doing the pose Bn'B (boobs and butt)...
you have a very strong anatomy knowledge for what i can see... but in this one you just break her spine
and it's ok, remember we're here on to have fun and improve our skills with every battle!

I know, I'm not upset or anything. I just disagree and that is all. I know my anatomy is not perfect but i do know that this pose is anatomically possible. Whether it looks strange or not. As an artist your self you know that sometimes that is just how it is. Sometimes even thing that are design almost perfectly just look wrong, specially when it comes to anatomy. Not saying that i did this perfect lol far from it but it is not a pic of a broken spine. You can see one hole boob and part of the other because she is facing at angle and wearing tight close which are compressing her boob spreading out the mass lol. She is not facing directly front: here have some examples (and mind you would be able to see both boobs.)

well if you see these examples that you show... the first two, the girls only can twist her torso 90degree from their normal pose, and the third example the girl can twist more than those 90degree helping herself with her arm pushing her leg...
Anatomy is a very wide subject to discuss because it have so many rules and info... so well like you say, let's agree to disagree hahaha... and my illustrations are always open to get reviewed, all the critiques and comments are welcome!
