now, you pardon my ignorance, that weapon looks like something from the AR platform, but it has a PARA FAL buttstock, what exactly is it? (AR300 i presume) i mean in a ''the way its used'', is it used by police, military or just a civilian AR-15 hybrid?

No. It is a legit rifle. Back in the 90's, an outfit called ZM weapons, I think, did a redesign of the AR15. I forget what exactly he changed, but it did allow for a true folding stock. I never had a chance to shoot one, and I certainly couldn't afford it, but it seemed like a sweet rifle. Here's a brief history: world.guns.ru/assault/usa/zm-w…
