Holy Imagination, Batman!In these few days I got before the semester begins in college, I've been watching some old cartoons that I never saw before, and Treasure Planet was one of them.
Good movie, nice characters and an AWESOME music theme. I just love the latter and went to youtube to find and download it. BUT, a curious cat as I'm, I ended up in a countless crossover videos. I never know that kind of thing really exists and suddenly POOF! A massive tsunami of crossovers explode in my pc. Seriously, people, I envy your imagination skills, but there are some blends that I just don't get it.
JimxAriel is one of them. I mean, sure, we have the obvious sailor-mermaid element and althout Eric is a exception of personality (Come on, he has a NAME. For a Disney's Prince, this is serious business), he is pretty dull. But, I don't know , in a sense, these two are too much alike. It's easier they try to kill each other. They are both reckless, have a dangerous sense of adventure and a huge stubborness. I just don't get because people love them together so much!
And altough I'm too dense to understand the appeal of this pairing, I keep drawing them. Life is a odd fact. รฒ.รด

Yeah, I love the whole Jim and Ariel pairing, like I'm a bit obsessed over it but I'm not the only one, there are countless others who have not only done youtube videos about it but have written entire fanfictions about it and they are usually pretty good, like iesnoth does one that is outstanding for instance. And you are right, they are very similar but for the die hard fans like myself, it works. Just accept it. lol. But great pic, and yes Jim looks HOT HOT HOT in green. And I like the way you drew Ariel in the ship sail dress.

*White flag* Woa, cowgirl! I accept it as I accept any other pairings in any fandom. Anyone can like/support everthing they want. I'm not a anti-fan or something like that.^^
What occurs me that I can't see the great appeal about them and don't got "hooked" like I'm, for example, with Sesshoumaru and Kagome from Inuyasha. But I'm trying. I read "Landlocked" and a couple fanfictions on ff.net and I saw some videos that are very well-done. Like I said, I just don't got hooked...yet.
And thanks! I'm really glad that you liked Jim. He is just a pain in the arse to draw, what is a shame because I think he is just so adorable.

I think it's Jim's cheek bones that are so infuriating. I applaud anyone who tries and succeeds. And as far as the Jim/Ariel thing- it's ok- it's not everyone's cup of tea and I understand that. Sorry, didn't mean to come off so aggressive. sorry.
