Well, first proper art of 2021! This year has basically been like 2020 2.0 so far, so it's still been a dumpster fire, but at least I have more time to make art, for now. I'm working on a new writing project featuring cryptids, and here's one of the main characters, Ahmack, a yeti who moves into the city to reconcile with his estranged family of sasquatches in time for the yuletide festivities. He's probably the most gentle character in the entire cast.

In terms of drawing it, I just needed something to shake the dust off so I could get back to commission work. I started with just the yeti at first, then from there, I half assed this background without much planning -- I just looked at a lot of refs and painted/drew most of it on one layer. Still, this was fun to do, and it turned out okay despite me being a total noob at backgrounds. I don't know if it makes much sense perspective/geography wise, but eh.
