Description
Who could say no to that kind of threat? o:Something random I wanted to play around with. :> This is the first time I feel like satin stitching/machine appliquΓ© actually turned out consistently nicely. Usually it turns out crumpled or lopsided or some bits are really thick while other bits are too thin...lol, a lot can go wrong with satin stitching.

Aww it's so cute. I also love the design, with the arms as stitching, and the cute little chibi style!

...I ...euh... bought a $350 sewing machine and.. I have no idea how to use it haha. I start sewing and it goes all over the place and it takes me longer to sew by machine actually haha. I need to learn at some point

Hahaha, REALLY?? Oh man. xD I only started hardcore sewing the last few years but my grandma is a retired seamstress so I've known how to run a sewing machine pretty much since I could walk. When I was really little my grandma had one of those all-metal Singer sewing machines. It was so cool. *3* (Unfortunately it did die after 50+ years of her using it almost daily and she had to get one of the modern plastic ones, haha)
That's really interesting though. I can't imagine handsewing being faster than a machine, but I'm really bad at handsewing. o3o I don't mind handsewing on a head or a leg or something, but sewing the entire length of something by hand would make me ragequit almost immediately. xD

I need a nana to teach me
Machine sewing makes me rage quit all the time! ha ha. I will learn at some point when I get some down time though. Do you find it easier to draw the shape on uncut fabric and stitch that and then cut it? Or cut the pieces and sew it like that? I find when I cut it that it always goes all wonky and the stitch never follows the way I want it to.

I actually don't draw the shape on there at all O: I cut out my pieces while allowing about a centimeter's worth of seam allowance, then just eyeball it as I sew. Have you tried looking up videos on Youtube? It seems like video tutorials would be best for this kinda thing, haha.

Ah! I usually put that in the description but forgot - the body is minky, the flame on the tail is blizzard fleece.
