Personality: Vera is always in search of amusement and whether that means bringing you a candy gift, 'singing' the song of her people in the dead of night, or hissing her head off and charging you from a dark corner depends on her mood. She loves shiny things, and obsesses over collecting the shiny, crinkly, candy wrappers nearly as much as the candies themselves. She may giggle and spout nonsense sometimes, but she's shrewder and 'more there' than she lets on.

Being contrary and disagreeing with everything never fails to make her happy, and she can be tricked into cooperating with some reverse psychology.

Current: Vera claimed a spot in the back of one of the Estate library's bookshelves as her personal home and stashing-of-wrappers-and-candy-and-sparkly-things spot. Several books were pushed out onto the ground and others rearranged to create her little hideyhole. She likes the quietness of the library and pleasant book smells, and especially that humans come to visit her bedroom for stretches of time so that she can beg for candy or explore their pockets for anything interesting.
We've let her stay there but if she starts chewing the books she'll have to be ousted; probably at the cost of mangled fingers.
