Well For those of you that have seen buena vista's butchered re-working of Castle in the Sky, (Originally called Laputa by Hayao Miyasaki), will recognise this as a laputatian robot.I found them so beautiful when i watch the film the design of them has always stuck with me. I'm really proud of this cause of the acrylic painting (something i never felt very good at). I even added sand to the paint to do the moss on the robots shoulders, hehe.

I've evaded watching it. But I was told that they 'changed the score to suite a western audience' and that sort of stuff really get's my back up. I've seen clips and the voices are all wrong to me. But then again when I watch the original in japanese I find the voices difficult to get comfortable with because I grew up watching a rare 1985 dub, and you notice that alot of stuff is lost in translation when you watch the japanese one with subtitles.
