From my prequel fanfic, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 8.1: World Star . Poly is one of John's classmates at his college, Prospect, the predecessor to Expectations, who would be recruited into his team, Lonely Hearts Club, in order to win and establish a leadership to quell the violent uprising due to the increase of Stands. Poly is a amateur detective, following in her family's footsteps, who is in a relationship with fellow peer, Mr. Mister.

Polysics (ポリシックス, Porishikkusu, typeset POLYSICS) is a Japanese new wave and rock band from Tokyo, who dubs its unique style as "technicolor pogo punk". It was named after a brand of synthesizer, the Korg Polysix. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo. They create high energy music, fusing conventional guitar music with synthesized and computer generated sound to create a unique mixture of punk and synthpop heavily inspired by the American bands Devo and The Tubes, as well as Japanese bands such as P-Model and Yellow Magic Orchestra. Their song lyrics often consist of Japanese, English, or just downright gibberish. The band has been noted for their extremely energetic live performances and their wild gimmicky outfits, notably their straight-bar sunglasses and trademark orange boiler suits stamped with a simple "P". The song, Making Sense is about making sense of the inane and random actions of others.

I took the name of the song and used the loose term to make a magnifying glass Stand for an amateur detective user, who makes sense of seemingly unclear crime cases.

Stand: Making Sense- named after the song by the band, Polysics
Stand User: Poly Sics- named after the band, Polysics
Ability: Clairvoyance- Making Sense can acquire information using sight outside the normal range of detection about an object, person, location, or physical event, using items belonging to a person. Usually, it can also do so without the aid of Poly's vision vision, allowing it to act when Poly is unable to use her eyes.

Poly would be able to detect beings/entities normally completely undetectable, like spiritual and psychic beings. Additionally, Making Sense can perceive sights and visual sensations from other dimensions and from past events, future events, or locations that are currently outside the range of normal human senses or vision. This also means that Making Sense can receive optical/visual sensations (i.e. itchy eyes, crying/watery eyes, rolling eyes, sharper vision, rapid blinking, blurry vision, blindness) from things outside the normal range of perception.

Destructive Power: D- not physically powerful.
Speed: A- very fast.
Range: A- 500 meters.
Precision: A- highly accurate
Persistence: D- Ability scrying lasts for a few seconds so Poly needs to quickly gather as much relevant information as possible in that short time frame.
Development Potential: B- has basic knowledge of power.
Stand User Rank: B- Very skilled at detective work and information gathering, while belonging to a skilled amateur sleuth.
