From my prequel fanfic, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 8.5: Rainbow In The Dark. An inhuman being that has been tormenting families every Harvest Moon since the medieval period, using his Stand to kill others in their sleep. He is the true identity of Jack The Ripper in this iteration of the universe, with his astral/metaphysical physiology being the reason he was never caught.

Blood Red Sandman- initially called Blood Red Santa, but changed due to the violent implications for the jolly old man, as the song was now more about a combination of Freddy Krueger and Jack The Ripper.

The Stand is based on the British Folklore bogeyman, Bloody Bones and the figure Spring Heeled Jack, which plays into the whole British storyline of Parts 8.5 and Part 9. I made him to be a proper combatant for Joanna to learn to properly use her Stand without it feeling overpowered as S.H.J., is a millennia experienced enemy.

Stand: Blood Red Sandman- named after the song by the band, Lordi.
Stand User: Spring-Heeled Jack
Ability: Nightmare Manipulation- The Stand can enter other’s dreams to manipulation them, alter the minds of targets, imprisoned targets in nightmares, induce nightmares, kill others in nightmares, which is replicated in reality, gain powers based on others’ fears, make them recall old nightmares, being omniscient in nightmares, manipulate the subconscious, and illusion manipulation.
Destructive Power: A- very powerful, both in nightmares and reality.
Speed: A- very agile, both in nightmares and reality
Range: Infinite- it has indeterminate range in nightmares, C- 3 meters in reality.
Precision: A- very accurate.
Persistence: B- lasts until concentration is broken.
Development Potential: Complete- fully mastered.
Stand User Rank: A- a millennia old user who has mastered his nightmare based Stand both in reality and in nightmares- leaving no apparent weaknesses.
Personal Power: Blue/White Fire Breathing, Metallic Extended/Trajectory Redirecting Claws, and Enhanced Jumping/Height
