I've been wanting to draw a mermaid lately, though I don't know why. It was fun. :'D

The title is what it is because of some kid at church coming up behind me and going, "If she's a mermaid, why is her hair blow-dried?" I didn't really understand what the kid meant at first till they almost started touching and smudging the picture. So, I told the kid the mermaid was out of the water to end the whole argument.

If mermaids aren't real, then why do they have to be drawn so realistically? If someone wants to draw an unreal creature with dried hair, let them! D<
