Emphasis on the "Quick" part, okay? Think of it as minimalist
Fun fact: When I draw fan art, I typically try to do it in the anime's style. I don't draw much other than fan art, but when I do, this is my style.
Yeah, I know it's crappy.
In simple terms, this happened because I was thinking about how the only way Yugi's hair could be possible would be in the form of Liberty Spikes. And he'd have to have a lot of hair. Like ... a lot. ANYWHO! So I decided to draw it to see if it would look as silly as I thought. Now that I see it, I don't think it looks so bad, actually.
I added Anzu because, let's face it, her hair is sort of weird, too. It doesn't start out like a cardboard box in the manga, more just naturally evolved into one as Takahashi kept drawing her. Judging from the early manga, I'd assume her hair is SUPPOSED to be a chin-possibly-mid-neck-length bob cut. Also it's just generally more fun to draw these two together than apart.
Hey, I think this is my first Yugi and Anzu pic that has nothing to do with the Heirs canon. LOOK AT THAT

I think Anzu looks best. ^^ Her eyes are gorgeous here! And her hair looks pretty natural, too!

That's probably part of the "I Really can Only Draw Women" thing. But I was already sure Yugi's hair was NEVER going to look natural. My standard was just "possible"
