Crappy pop culture reference for a title because it's moderately relevant and of course I'm the type of person that likes Rocky Horror.

This was originally just a doodle in my notebook. No, I don't pay attention in English class. Could you tell? But I really liked it and decided to ink and color it.

I feel like this is going to be misconstrued by viewers as a Yugi x OC pairing picture. It's not. For all you new people, that's his daughter (with Anzu) on the right, Yumiko Mutou, as she appears in my fanfiction "Yu-Gi-Oh!: Heirs". Because I felt like it, they're both 16 and in their school uniforms. As such this is a physically impossible picture in-universe XD. That amuses me. What can I say? I'm easily amused.

The picture was originally just what you see in the foreground, the two heads facing in opposite directions. It's Yugi's monstrous hair that makes his head look so much bigger than hers, btw. It's also the reason I added a background, because there was too much empty space behind Yumiko and it was bugging me like hell.

Sooooo ... random background of obvious significance. Behind Yugi is Atem's half of the Memory Tablet (How very convenient I drew Yugi in the same direction Atem was facing, because otherwise I would have had to flip it and be angsty). The Hieroglyphs aren't anime accurate. They ARE real hieroglyphs, though. Three guesses to what they spell. Behind Yumiko is a Yu-Gi-Oh!-fied version of a real carving of Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III, which may or may not feature in the story at some point, but really was put in because the actually plot significant statue would have still left white space.

I think I had this picture in mind when I started drawing, but I didn't realize such until I was done. Funny how your mind tricks you like that, huh?
