Arrow is introducing another DC Comics character — and he'll have strong ties to Diggle.Medium star David Cubitt, who played Detective Lee Scanlon on the CBS procedural, has landed a meaty guest role in the CW comic-book drama's third season as Mark Shaw, who becomes Manhunter, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Cubitt is slated to appear in the third episode.

Mark Shaw was my favourite Manhunter... first one I was introduced to and he had a cool personality.

First one I heard about too. Got a comic with him in it. Thought he was going to be featured in an Arrow episode so I wanted to get my concept out first to see what they came up with. Maybe soon.

My guess is that the show's actual look for him will be "A man in a black shirt, coat, and pants". It's a good show, but we'll be lucky if he even wears a mask in one episode...

Excellent mash-up of all the previous incarnations of the Manhunters, with Shaw as the main basis. Only thing miss are the shurikens.

I assumed they would be in his pouches. Along with his guns, knives, ext. The battons on his back connect together and make the staff too.

Ah, I thought about that actually. I thought for the show they would want to keep his "costume" more simple. Something about the shurikens made me think it might be too flashy or something.

This looks wicked! It has notes of Dr. Doom, Deadpool, Iron Man, Agent Venom, and it all comes together in a surprisingly practical really cool design.
