Description
During her entire life, Kiara had been told stories about her grandfather Mufasa. Stories of how he was brave and kind, stories of how much of a great king he was, and stories of how his tragic death should be taken as a lesson. To this day, the great king’s name is said at least once everyday.

Kiara was prohibited to go to the canyon ever since she was old enough to leave on her own. And so did Simba’s other cubs. This was Simba’s decision until Kiara proved she was mature enough to be taken there for the first time.

After the prides became one, Simba decided it was time. The king strolled his daughter all the way towards the tragic place. After around 30 minutes of walking, they were there. Simba seemed anxious, hesitant… Kiara, just like her father, was hesitant. It was always something she wanted to see, but yet, something that scared her.

Both made their way inside the canyon, Simba felt the familiar and disturbing touch of the ground and rocks. Smoke from a previous and recent disband took over the place, making things even more disturbing. Not long after, the two reached the place.

A broken tree, with dried flowers and a small grass tuft taking over the ground. It’s where Mufasa died.

The two stood there, staring at the small portion of grass. Kiara wouldn’t move unless her father told her to do so. Simba thought…

It was about time.
It was about time he had to tell Kiara everything.

Hey guys! Back with a new drawing
Don’t ask me what happened with Simba’s hair, I don’t know either I hate drawing his bangs!
But yeah, here’s a small piece for Simba and Kiara. I’d like to imagine the canyon was abandoned, and all cubs were prohibited to go there. Mufasa’s death story told by Rafiki to the cubs was slightly distorted, and rather messy. It was more of a "Grah! Scar is SUPER evil! Don’t trust these kind of people!" story. I think Simba would eventually decide to personally stroll Kiara there and tell her the full, FULL story.
