“For the sake of the Great Spirits, Vitani!” The Queen roared. “She’s not a grown lioness like you, Imara, Tazama… My daughter is a little cub!”

“Listen, Kiara!—”

“What do you have to say? The thing you did was so irresponsible, I can’t even think properly right now!” Kiara hissed. She walked in circles, with her stomps growing louder and stronger every step.

"Look, I’m sorry. I mean it. But, it’s not my fault that Mwaminifu had decided to jump off that rock. Me and the girls clearly told her not to do so, and before we knew, she was laying down, whining on the ground.” Vitani huffed.

“What she did was dumb, I know,” Kiara agreed for a moment. “But was it smart of you to put her in real danger? That was serious Lion Guard business for adults only, and yet, you decided to drag my daughter alongside this. You decided to drag her along knowing she could hurt herself, which is what happened: Do you know how worried me, Kovu and Rafiki were when we found out Mwaminifu had hurt her paw?”

”Well, she’s the future Lion Guard leader. The kid needs to know what the real job is!”

“She needs to know when she’s old enough to know. Got it?” Kiara furrowed her eyebrows. The Queen was raging with anger, but yet, decided to try to end this situation as peacefully as possible. “We are friends, Vitani, we’ll always be. But as of now, I am speaking as your Queen. You will not be teaching anything to any of my cubs for the next week.”

Silence took over. Vitani struggled to make eye contact with Kiara. The Lion Guard’s leader sighed, and bowed down - a thing she had barely done throughout her entire life. “Yes… Your Majesty.”

Heyy! Here some with Kiara’s reign stuff

While I think Vitani and Kiara are close friends, I think Vitani was considerably irresponsible when it came to training her niece. Vitani ( and her siblings ) was abused throughout her whole life, learning how to be a fighter ever since she was a little cub, and she was never taught that was wrong. When Simba and others came into her life, Vitani was a grown adult, do you think they’d really touch that topic?

So yeah, Vitani went a bit too hard on her youngest niece without knowing. Poor Vitani…
