Description
So I've been redrawing a few of my older dragons, and felt this one was worth coloring. I tried what I could to get the red veins to look like lava flow, but I don't believe I quite hit that mark yet. I'll get it eventually. Anyway, this is an original dragon species I made for my HTTYD fic - www.fanfiction.net/s/9989943/1…
I made a few improvements with the horns, and I put less rocky patches around him. He felt a bit cluttered before.

Species - Lava Guardian
Name - Balrog
Class - Stoker class (Has boulder characteristics as well)
Personality - Stoic, serious, stubborn, over protective at times.

States: (For reference we'll say a Night Fury has 10, 10, 8 for these three below)

Speed - 6/10
Maneuverability - 7/10
Endurance - 10/10

Other Abilities - Swims in and eats lava. Can hear within the range of several miles.
Weaknesses - Cold water when exposed for long periods. Must consume lava periodically to keep it's fire lit. Cannot survive in ice for more than a couple of hours. Poor sense of smell. The lava veins show the power of its fire and general health away from an active lava source.
