Guess who USED to be obsessed with Mystic Messenger, loland guess who got back for a little while? ME. I'll disappear soon anyway, haha.

I don't like Mystic Messenger anymore, the reason number one is MC. That's right, I hate the Main Character who is supposed to represent us, hmph. MC is too nosy and other characteristics which I hate in her I forgot. Is that why I don't have a boyfriend? Because I'm not nosy and selfish? In order to get good ending, sometimes you have to be that way, or even both choices mean being that way! I really hated it. And what have they done to Jumin?? He was my favorite character! I loved that he is so serious, strict, hardworking and the only thing cares about is the cat. BUT WHAT ON JUMIN'S ROUTE HAVE THEY DONE TO HIM, HE LOST HIS PERFECT PERSONALITY...707? psh... It was worth to get his route only to hear drunk Yoosung and get to know how things really are.
The only things I still like in Mystic Messenger is YooSeven, lmao.
I saw how many people praise their sweet MC and hate Rika, that made me really angry so I started to understand how much I hate people ㅎㅎ' (It's hard, being a hothead person, I mean. Which is me, hehe.)
So I decided that it would be better for me to leave this fandom and game, my nerves for me are more precious.

And MC is like

and is really cliche and has no eyes. The usual. I honestly loved the storyline but MC just falls flat.
While I did appreciate that 707 likes MC through all the routes,he's getting a little overrated. And he isn't meant to be overrated.

But of course of we look at it from another angle, MC is planned to be like that so the player can be pleased no? Heck, the game itself is about "dating" etc, so it was expected for the MC to be perfectshysexyoptimistwhoattractseveryone so the player can feel special (why of course one of the human problems is their self esteem.)

Never meant to be? Isn't his route is like super duper main route and all? And he is on a game icon and there is a pillow merchandize of him and and... The thing that I want to say is that I, for some reason, think that 707 is actually meant to be popular by Cheritz themselves.

Yes, ik Cheritz purposely wanted 707 to be popular, but instead that kinda cancelled everything out. I was trying to say that,you know how 707 could only watch MC from afar as she goes onto other routes? In the game he was the "side character" of a sort,never being the Prince Charming the MC chooses. That was what made his story have that extra beauty,that even though he wasn't in the spotlight he was still in love with MC and is happy for her. But because now every fan loves 707 a lot after the reset theory and all, you see 707 fan art everywhere, he's basically representing the entire Mysme fandom
In short 707 is in the spotlight. Which just kills this little story because the main point of what made 707's relationship with MC so unique is the fact that 707 is alone,and MC loves someone else. Yet 707 still loves MC.
Also I don't like it that everybody likes 707 because of reset theory. Technically you don't like someone because they like you. You like 707 for his strength and smarts and quirkiness, you like him for who he is, not because he likes you back. A lot of fans have 707 as a favorite because of reset theory. Then, they don't like HIM, they like HIS LOVE.
