Steven [about to crush Star with a boulder]: Say hi to Pink Diamond!
[Before he can do so, Star spots Lord Hater's downed ship on the cliff above.]
Star: No, you say hi to Li'l Chauncey!
Steven: Who?
[Star quickly kicks Steven towards the cliff, rolls toward her wand and blasts the rocks under Hater's ship, causing it to crash onto Steven before he can recover, seemingly killing him. Her rival beaten, Star walks away. Fortunately, thanks to his Gem side, Steven survives and emerges unharmed. He finds Star waiting on a nearby rock.]
Steven: What are you still doing here?
Star: Well... I think you're gonna like this: Marco has my ride home.
Steven: [laughs] That is kinda funny!
Star: Hey, listen, I'm sorry we fought. Sorry it got a little weird, and definitely a little wild. You see, I ain't from 'round here. I'm from another dimension.
Steven: I understand. I'm a Crystal Gem. I'll always save the day. If you think I can't, --[takes her hand]-- I'll always find a way.
[They smile at each other before walking home together.]
Star: Look, even if we can't be besties, I respect you.
Steven: You, too. Let's just agree to stay several dimensions away from each other...
