Out of curiosity, where do you believe people go when they die?

I am semi-christian. Oh believe in God and Jesus, but I don't believe in the bible. I believe that atheists aren't bad people. (Sure, every now and then you get a dickweed, but there is always several in a religion, fandom, etc.) Just because they don't have a religion doesn't mean they're evil or Satan worshipers, or whatever.

Christian and I totally agree. The select few radical Christians that believe this are strongly disliked by the average Christian. Just as the average atheists I know dislike the few atheists who believe they're mentally superior because of atheism.

Thanks, DragonbloodRain, but we don't need an education on what won't happen.

Well, it doesn't necessarily makes us atheists better, but then again how some people on both sides have acted ...

Well, have you researched all of the facts to consider? How scientists think the Earth was created? How life exists? First of all, I don't know how anyone could believe the "Big Bang" theory of yours. How in the world could a tiny speck about this size "." randomly explode, with no ignition or reason to do so, and create the entire solar system. Go ahead and research it, and I bet you that no scientist has a legitimate explaination for that. The way I see it, a divine force was needed, whatever the scientists think. The only reason that makes sense is that God really DOES exist.
Here's a second reason; since you're obviously an atheist, go ahead and explain to me how tiny bacterial organisms can change into humans. Even over millons of years, how could that happen? Yes, I believe one part of evolution, species can develop new traits, like webbed feet or a new layer of fur, but I don't think it's possibe for organisms to evolve as much as scientists think they can. Also, the "Lusa" of yours is a fake. She was really found a good distance apart, and her "skull" was really a pig skull. Some scientist just found them and announced to the world that he found a close relative to humans. The only reason for life that makes sense: God spoke it into existence. He created the Earth and life on it over the course of seven days, including Adam and Eve, the first humans. To me, that's the only believable reason for life.
Go ahead and tell me anything different if you think I'm wrong. I'd be glad to explain everything to you.

And people being made from thin air, or rather dirt is much more likely?

ficklepickle7 In reply to Sensei-Fisherman [2014-06-25 12:11:54 +0000 UTC]
Well, people are made from dirt, and they retern to dirt after they die. Is that hard to understand? No, they weren't made from thin air. God created Adam out of dirt, and made Eve with one of his ribs. Its gross, but its true.

ficklepickle7 In reply to Sensei-Fisherman [2014-06-25 12:52:02 +0000 UTC]
What, you expect to find dirt surrounding all our organs or something? Once the dirt was used to make Adam, it was no longer dirt. With God's help, of course. But since we decay after we die, you can make a pretty good prediction that we came from dirt, too.

Sensei-Fisherman In reply to ficklepickle7 [2014-06-25 15:31:28 +0000 UTC]
Yes, but dirt is also dirt itself. And no, I didn't have to look it up. Your average twelve year old knows this...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1
ficklepickle7 In reply to Sensei-Fisherman [2014-06-25 18:00:35 +0000 UTC]
Correction: we WERE made with dirt, not are. We are not dirt now (obviously), we just started out as dirt. Or our ancestors did. Okay, in simple terms, Adam was made with dirt, and we are his decendents. So technically we were made with dirt. And we will return to dirt when we die... Does that make any sense at all?

What do you mean, 'it's not'? I thought I could believe whatever I want. I also have the freedom of speech, so I can tell other people about it.
BTW, its not a religion, its a relationship. XD With the creator of the universe. Jealous? Lol, JK, but still...

Sensei-Fisherman In reply to ficklepickle7 [2014-06-26 01:22:05 +0000 UTC]
That would require "god" to be real. God with a lower case "g" means the idea of god.

ficklepickle7 In reply to Sensei-Fisherman [2014-06-26 01:56:00 +0000 UTC]
No, actually, "God" is the real one who created the universe and everything in it, and "god" is like, the fake gods. Like in Greek mythology. Zeus, Hera, Posidon, like them.
