Ok , so this is my half of an arttrade with

Wow, lots to say about this piece...

For starters, the character's name is Ursa. And OMG! Drawing this thing was a killer! Never before have I done anything with the kind of details I did on this one!

The horns are all hand textured and shaded, which was all done brush stroke by brush stroke! Same with the fir on the belly. I HAND-PAINTED each strand of hair!

And I LOVE the ears! Never before have I done bat-like ears, so this was a really good learning expirience.

Now here is the kicker... While creating this monster, I used a grande total of 57 layers!!!

And in case you don't know, Ursa is comming, litterally, out of the cave wall. In a pic that R-edds made with him, it showed this power. So i figured I'd do that. Oh, and the reason why I didn't do a full body shot, is because the tip of the tail would've killed me!
