My half of an arttrade withShe asked me to draw her OC "Jet". And gave me artistic freedom with it, and this is what I was able to come up with!
THis is the orignial refference I was given:
I love the steampunk character design, and the movie "The Rocketeer" was just plain awesome.
So I had fun making this piece. ^_^And get this.... THAT'S ALL JUST PEN!!!
I got it too look shaed by using a hatching technique and smudging the pen with my finger and some spittle... 
Not a really elegent method, but the end result looks awesome! Hope you like!

I'm glad you like it. ^_^ He's such a cool character and I really enjoyed drawing him.
I had planned on coloring the whole thing, and started with his eye, but then when I stopped and looked at it, I liked it as it was black and white with just the colored eye.
