They prismas, right? Are they really so buttery and easy to break as so many reviews claim? From videos I see they blend like a charm but weary of buying a set - If they break apart en route...they quite costy for letting them arrive in 30 pieces

Im a pretty aggressive color-er and I tend to drop them alot. But I've yet to have one break on me.
They do feel a bit waxy, kinda like a crayon, but much better quality.Β
I think my aunt (who gifted me mine) ordered them off Amazon and they arrived completely intact in a metal case.
