Description
Today I went to the Center for Puppetry Arts, which is in downtown Atlanta, which happens to be the very city in which I live. Since I'm on vacation, I took my sketchpad to the Jenson/Muppet exhibit. Alas, I arrived only an hour before they closed--who would think they'd shut down at 3:00?--thus I didn't have the time for great art. So, here are some quick sketches done in ballpoint pen. These two took about 12 minutes each.Red and Mokey are holding the rods for the puppets used in The Incredible Shrinking Mokey... but the label on the case said "The Fraggles' Nativity Puppets". Er, what? Since when are Fraggles churchgoers? When the museum manager saw me sketching and started chatting with me, I pointed out the goof. Hopefully they'll do some research and change it.
