The weird thing is that the fnaf characters were kids who were dumb enough to shove a five year old into Fredbear's mouth.

This is by far my favorite page of the entire comic so far. It's so powerful; the former guard is not even certain that he's not going insane, but all the same he's trying to honor the kids' memories the only way he can, when everyone around him is only profiting off their brutal demise. I think his sad face in the last panel says it all. I really love his desperate prayer for them.
Is this Mike Schmidt, by any chance? If you don't want to reveal his identity that's cool, too.

Thank you.Β I was trying for a quiet, intense moment.Β He doesn't know if he's doing ay good at all, but he feels he has to try, despite the risk.
This is the FNAF 3 night guard.Β As to his name, you'd have to ask Scott Cawthon.Β (Fun fact: I based his looks mostly on my own.Β I always wear a jeans, t-shirt, denim jacket, and running shows, and I have a thin face and hair like that.Β I left off my glasses and changed the shape of the nose, however.)

I get it now. I misunderstood a few pages back when he thought to himself, "You'd think five nights would have been enough." I took that to mean he'd worked at the pizzeria at least five nights back in the day like Mike did, but now I see it's the new guard returning after his five nights at the horror attraction.

Yep.Β Technically it'd be six--I passed the nightmare night after I posted the page--but it makes sense to stick with the title of the series.

I think I especially like the bottom panel, the cross-hatching works beautifully here. Feels storybook like to me.

Thank you.Β I've always liked crosshatching.Β I don't know where I got that from, as my favorite artists all have a much cleaner style.Β For me crosshatching is just comfortable, like a well-broken-in pair of sneakers.
