If this looks familiar, that's because it's a redo of Stealth Hug . I wasn't entirely satisfied with the pose; to me it looked as if Wembley was putting a wrestling hold on Boober over rather than going overboard with a big ol' hug. Plus, the scale was pretty badly off. This pic ain't perfect, but it's better.
This is an illustration for chapter 5 of A Wandering Heart .

This drawing is so cute.
Wembley's surprise hug looks like it startles Boober. I wonder if it was enough to make Boober's Baloobius stand up. If so, now Wembley can say he got Boober for once.

Boober's baloobius is fully fluffed. However, I don't think that Wembley wants to win at this point. And in two seconds he's gonna wish Boober's chair hadn't fallen over backwards, trapping him underneath.

I have to say, this is a grand example why Wembley is probably my favorite of the Fraggle 5. Sure he can be a little obnoxious especially when he goes into a wembling fit, but past all that Wembley is compassionate, self-giving, and pretty dang empathic when it comes to sensing the motions of others. And, what a surprise, he's hugging the one Fraggle that needs MORE hugs XD

Heh, yes, Wembley is a wonderful character. He's selfless, sweet, and honest, and all to willing to help a friend in need. And he's got the strongest moral compass of the gang; he never wembles when there's a moral choice to be made.
There's good chemistry between Wembley and Boober. They bring out both the best and the worst in each other, which is a recipe for the funny!
Hugs are fun to draw. PArticularly when they result in pratfalls.

I was gonna say that the arm around Boobers neck *might* do some damage if the poor boy isn't careful but, again, its kinda like Wembley to sorta loose himself in the moment. I'm sure he'll recover though
If ever there was a fraggle who I'd probably get along with the most of the five, it'd be Wembley. You made a good point about Wembley not wembling when morality is concerned, he does have a pretty solid view between right and wrong.
And yes, hugs are fun to draw but dang hard sometimes! DX

Right after this pic, Boober's chair fell over backwards, onto Wembley. Nobody was hurt, just had the wind knocked out of 'em. A moment later and they were back to normal.
