Here's installment of the comic that started out as outtake reel for Requiem with a Birthday Cake and since devolved into any dopey FNAF gags that come into my head.
Okay. I'm hopped up on cold meds and pain-crazed from pink eye on both sides. I can barely see to draw, but that's never been a problem for the Springaling comics. So here's a something I did with input from FNAF4, which gave me intense feels, God save me for using that word. Don't try to fit it in with the continuity of anything; Springaling is pretty much continuity-free. If I feel like throwing something in, logic be damned, I'll do it.
I have some more ideas along this line, but I'll wait and see if they sound really stupid after the meds wear off.

When people make tasteless jokes about a tragic event right after it happens, "too soon!" is a common response. People are still torn up by grief, and you're making jokes about it?! So Springtrap guesses that, since the "basket case" is a recent arrival, that's what the Puppet is so miffed about. It doesn't occur to him that what he said is never appropriate.

Expressions are my favorite thing to draw. It used to be hard to give them to Springtrap and the Puppet, because their faces don't give me a lot to work with, but now that I'm comfortable with them I have a lot of fun with 'em.

The bite of '87 victim died shortly after the bite. The human body lived without the frontal lobe, as Phone Guy said, but not for very long. The puppet's death-glaring Springtrap for not being sensitive about the victim's ghost.

As for the grey child, I think I'm gonna have to follow up on his story, as I can't just leave him like that.

8-bitgaming seems to think the date on the commercial is meant to correspond to when the restaurant opened, rather than what year it happens to be. Plus you have to keep in mind Scott Cawthorn's trying to finish telling the story ready hinted toward with the 'Bite of '87'. It wouldn't make sense to suddenly be '83.

It still wouldn't make sense since it's still using the old Spring animatronics, when by FNAF 2 they along with the original four had clearly been discontinued in favor of the Toy animatronics. We don't see any of them represented in the commercial. They would have replaced all the animatronics with the Toy models if it was 1987.

The toy models were certainly seen in the location we play in, in FNAF2, but there was a mentioning of a sister location. It's entirely possible the bite took place at the sister location instead of the location in the second game. In that same vein, the sister location could have also been making use of the spring suits while the other had the aged animatronics and newer toys. My personal hypothesis is that the phone guy recordings we hear in FNAF3 might correspond with events occurring in the FNAF4 location.
