Here's installment of the comic that started out as outtake reel for Requiem with a Birthday Cake and since devolved into any dopey FNAF gags that come into my head.
Okay. I'm hopped up on cold meds and pain-crazed from pink eye on both sides. I can barely see to draw, but that's never been a problem for the Springaling comics. So here's a something I did with input from FNAF4, which gave me intense feels, God save me for using that word. Don't try to fit it in with the continuity of anything; Springaling is pretty much continuity-free. If I feel like throwing something in, logic be damned, I'll do it.
I have some more ideas along this line, but I'll wait and see if they sound really stupid after the meds wear off.

That's just the thing: You'd think ALL the locations would make use of the newer animatronics because the company spent a fortune on them and wouldn't want ay of the previous locations to be using the older and possibly more dangerous older models.Although I have to agree Phone Guy's calls did pertain to that time period and the last one that particular restaurant. The Chomp of 83' caused the original owners to sell the company and the old animatronics to be discontinued setting in motion the events of FNAF 2 and the bite of 87 where Mangle bit someone Likely either Jeromy or someone else.
As far as I see it the games go: FNAF 4, FNAF 2, FNAF 1 and finally FNAF 3 chronologically. The game also confirms that Golden Freddy and Fredbear are in fact one and the same as I suspected as well as him being the other Spring suit along with Spring Bonnie. It also shows us that Purple Man was there at this time working in the restaurant as a Security Guard. By that time he had murdered at least the first five kids and would go one to murder five more in FNAF 2. So as far as I'm concerned we've seen nearly everything pertaining to the in game universe except for two things:
1. Did the kid's soul go on to possess another animatronic.
2. Who is the Purple Man and why did he kill those kids?

Nah. If the toys in the one location cost the company too much money to create, they probably were major contributors as to why the FNAF1 location had to operate on a much smaller budget as it is. The company most likely couldn't afford to double the toy animatronics to fill two locations. Plus the company itself has shown a tendency to do a lot of covering up and cutting corners, and doesn't seem to be totally on the up-and-up. I can see that they'd have kept using the older spring suits up until the incident where there would be 'multiple and simultaneous spring lock failures' at the more aged FNAF4 location. As we see in the minigame, there's multiple suits - both a spring bonnie and spring fazbear in use while another spring animatronic set is on the stage. The sister location most likely had nothing but the spring animatronics while the newer FNAF2 location got the new animatronics, the puppet, and withered and haunted animatronics left over from Fazbears Family Diner in 1983 for parts - purely because it's a grand opening and new location. At this point, the murders still already happened, potentially in the first Diner and potentially at a still unseen location, and this is hinted at due to the girl in the night 4 minigame mentioning how the animatronics walk around at night and hide bodies. Rumors have already begun circulating, which is addressed by the Phone guy in FNAF2 in a way that suggests the rumors are still fairly fresh. We do also see that this takes place in 1987 because there's a mangle toy in the kid's house. The mangle was one of the toys in 1987, so it makes no sense for it to be merchandised as a pull-apart-attraction in 1983. Something worth mentioning also is the girl in the night 4 minigame, who mentions how people get killed and hidden away. This hints that the murders did already take place prior to the bite of '87.
Anyway, hopefully the DLC will give us the 'word of god' on what happened and answer the rest of our questions. Scott himself might have to do some clarification, because the commercial easter egg could have caused a lot of timeline confusion.

I always thought that too. I mean why would there be a Bite of '83? FNAF 4 was meant to answer the big question around the entire FNAF community "who caused the Bite of '87?"
