Previous: Next:Here's installment of the comic that started out as outtake reel for Requiem with a Birthday Cake and since devolved into any dopey FNAF gags that come into my head.
This comic is part of a story arc which starts with Springaling 22: If Looks Could Bruise . Sorry about the lack of larfs lately. The funniness will return very, very soon now.
I wrote this one when I began the arc, intending it to be a comedy button. The Puppet was to have thanked Springtrap sarcastically, and when Springtrap realized that he'd been had he'd have shouted "Crap!" But after what's happened, it'd just make the Puppet look like a jerk. That's Springtrap's job.

I've got to be honest; when you confirmed that Springtrap had his back turned I actually thought he had been preparing a bonfire and was at the moment in the middle of lighting a match. 
I guess this part is what most users had been hoping to happen; that Springtrap helps little Calvin, albeit unintentionally, but still "helps" him move on by not stealing the Fredbear doll from him. The pure irony of the story is something I think our dear Marionette won’t let Mr. Pouttrap forget so easily. I don't mean Ian would be rubbing it in, more like a friendly reminder if there would ever come a situation that calls for it.
I see that most of the comments has been expressing hopes that Springtrap has, in his deepest subconscious started to develop something akin to a heart. I'm more moving towards laziness and that he bided his time a tad longer than he might have planned. Uncle Telly is such an excellent babysitter and distractor! 
I agree it wouldn’t really been in Ian’s nature (perhaps if he was annoyed enough? But he has so far been too nice to even flare up properly), however he did get the chance to ”drop the mic” after the verbal boss moment with BOBtrap. That was really awesome.
Hehe, Springtrap acting like a little boy who’s angry that his favorite toy got given away to another kid is so hilarious ( ), but perhaps BOB never had a real childhood to begin with? I understand he kept the Fredbear plushy as a memento of his "happy times" killing the children. There are some small aspects of Springtrap's behaviour that just makes me curious.

You're right, Springtrap did not decide to let Calvin take the doll; he just watched until it was too late. He had no idea that the balloon would take him away. Now he's miffed that he humored the Puppet this long. He has not had a change of heart; he doesn't care about Calvin at all. If it had been any other object helping him reach escape velocity, Springtrap wouldn't have given a toss.
I don't know what kind of childhood Bob had. It's probably safe to say that it wasn't nice. I really don't want to think too much about it.
Springtrap: "You think I was about to burn the place down? What, AGAIN? Been there, done that."

It may sound strange, but I'm happy to know that BOB hasn't miraculously gained a conscience over this story line. However, If you would ever decide to give him that capability I won't complain since it's your character and your story and only you can decide what will happen or where everything will end. 
Hmm, I've got some kind of ideas what his childhood might've been. Those ideas are not tangible, but I can leave them left unsaid.
