And for the suit parts they weren't really connected to his corpse/endo skeleton and could be changed with other parts.

I have so many deep feels right now, seeing that spring suit go hollow... It harkens me back to that "what have you done" pic of Ian kneeling in front of Spring's empty shell, holding the head piece and weeping...
He's going to ask God exactly that, isn't he? The similarity between that and this is way too great.
I do see the plush, but I'm not sure if I feel comforted, or not... ._. Ian also let go of his balloon in shock; symbolism?

Heh, I'm glad some people remember that picture. You may well be onto something.
In this comic, God communicates in ways that those he is speaking to will understand. The dove was a rather blunt message to Springtrap; so was the Fredbear doll. The Balloons are primarily for the ghost children, symbols of happiness. Party imagery. The kids instinctively accepted the invitation that they represented. Springtrap's balloon was dark because, again, can't be subtle with him. "You too. Yes, you!"
It doesn't mean anything much that Ian let go of his balloon. It served its purpose.

Well, in all fairness, you can't really forget such an "oof"-inducing picture like that. ._.
That and seeing someone you finally built up some level of relationship with just... Go "shell" like that is likely to go over very poorly. And yet I keep thinking...
