I will state this for the record: Plushtrap is telling the truth. This is how baby nightmares are created. The Freddles were made the same way. Fredbear and Nightmare are the ones who have the most time to devote to doll crafting, as they are only on duty a night or two a week if that. So, they are the "mothers."
Think about it. In biological beings, mothers are female because female bodies are able to produce young. Among the Nightmares, young are produced in a workshop, so motherhood has nothing to do with gender.

Plushtrap's orgin story seems legit. And because I see most of the animatronics as agender/bigender, I'm not really bothered by the confusion of who's mother and who's father based on gender. Trying to figure out how the personifications of countries came to be is much, much harder, especially when they skip a generation.

It's interesting that you made it so that Plushtrap was created from all the Nightmare animatronics since that's similar to how people originally thought Springtrap was a hybrid of all the animatronics.
