Previous: Next:Originally I was going to make Nightmare a black shape with no inner lines, a shadow monster. Then I realized that the second panel would have zero impact; you'd just see Springtrap's disembodied head floating in the darkness.
For trivia's sake, the voice I hear in my head when I write Springtrap's dialogue is Jim Cummings as Negaduck . And Plushtrap, as I have probably mentioned, is Christine Cavanaugh as Gosalyn Mallard .
EDIT: The popcorn ghost is so popular he's now an emoticon! Enjoy.

Well I was wrong with Nightmare. It is or can be nice if he/she wants to.

Nightmare (who is an it; it is neither male nor female, despite me occasionally slipping up with the pronouns) is reasonable. And if you think about the game, it is the most humane of the nightmares. All of the others attack you by picking you up and shoving you into gnashing jaws; Nightmare only stares into your face, screaming static, and resets the game. It never actually lays a hand on you.

That's true. But how Nightmare attacks is similiar to Golden Freddy of FNAF 1. If you don't react fast enough then Golden stares into your face and screams, like Nightmare does.

I have no part for those employees in my story. I like to think they went on to their just reward rather than hanging around and haunting a pizzeria.

If Negaduck9 would wish to draw Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie it would be if she finds a good joke or story behind them. Bringing in them now wouldn't have served any purpose in this story than adding two extra actors on a crowded stage, actors who would also lack a proper script.
If Negaduck9 brings them in at some point, I believe she'll drop at least a hint or two first for the audience to guess before doing so. And if any of what I've written so far is off my rocker I'm sure she'll tell me that.

I know this reply is coming up late, but the comment I wrote last time came off as pretentious, at least that's what it feel to me.
I don't mind sudden plot twists and or surprize bombs. What I do can scratch my head over sometimes is when these plot bombs jumps in a story without any form of context or relevance to the plot itself. Otherwise I don't mind them at all, to me they're like a spice, kind of like chili that may put an interesting flavor to a soup or a tale. And the bombs you've been dropping so far in your Springaling have been very amusing to read.

No worries, it didn't come across as pretentious.
Some people drop stuff into a story not because it makes sense, but because they just want to. If I'd just plopped the Nightmares in without explanation, it would have been confusing and senseless. (Not that that's unheard of in Springling, but at least it would hopefully have been funny.) But there is an explanation, even if I am taking my sweet time revealing it.
I guess my point is that a writer has to make things belong to a story rather than just mishmashing things in at random. I have no ideas for Shadow Freddy and Bonnie, and no motivation for bringing them in. Unless that changes, then they'll just have to find someplace else to spend their time.
