Originally I was going to make Nightmare a black shape with no inner lines, a shadow monster. Then I realized that the second panel would have zero impact; you'd just see Springtrap's disembodied head floating in the darkness.

For trivia's sake, the voice I hear in my head when I write Springtrap's dialogue is Jim Cummings as Negaduck . And Plushtrap, as I have probably mentioned, is Christine Cavanaugh as Gosalyn Mallard .
