Hmm, should I follow Plushtrap or let The Puppet try to talk his way out of this with the rest of the Nightmares next?

Why?Β You want Springtrap to dosome good, or you want him to have an "Oh, crap!" moment whe he realizes that he and the Puppet are on the same side?
π: 0 β©: 1
Riuke-Z In reply to Negaduck9 [2015-10-19 16:36:01 +0000 UTC]
eemmmmh, I guess both?
I guess I just want him to realize just because he's "enemies" with the puppet doesn't mean he has to be in disagreement with everything he says/wants.
I could say he doesn't like misunderstandings, but that's just me XD

Everybody board the pain train! Negaduck9 will be your tear- con"duct"or on this journey to Feelsville.
I see that lots of users are pouring vitriol over Springtrap (rightly so, since he IS a douchebag). But I think Springtrap wasn't after to intentionally "hurt" Plushy.
Of what I interpreted from way he explained the situaion about Calvin and his surprised reaction to Plushtrap's sorrow. It seems he was more being awfully blunt (and socially inept) in this case than truly looking to cause her emotional pain.
If there any oppertunity for Springtrap to redeem himself a bit in his "daughter's" eyes. This could be the chance for him to act like a father and comfort her, but it's more guessing on my part of how Springtrap and Plushtrap could possibly reconcile and seeing his explaination caused the poor thing to cry her heart out; chances are ridiculously high he would handle it as smoothly like a spastic elephant in a porceline store. I'm prepared though to almost any kind of scenario you may throw at us.
Since this is your comic I'd say go with what your gut feeling tells you to do.

Springtrap actually wasn't trying to stir up grief for once.Β The Puppet was dithering, not knowing how to explain that her best friend is taking a dirt nap.Β But going to Heaven's good news, right?Β He even gave credit where due.Β So why is Plushtrap having a hissy about it?Β BOB doesn't understand this kind of loss.Β He's always been the one to inflict it, not experience it.
I don't know what it'll take to redeem Springtrap in Plushtrap's eyes.Β She's not going to forget his lack of remorse for killing all those kids in a hurry.

Your description of BOB's dented social awareness made me snicker.Β Β
I'm glad to know that she won't forget BOB's indifference to his crimes. I know I wrote about that option of what might happen before, but it's because I like to guess where a story might be going next, though I'm glad it won't go there.Β
My other guesses are that either Plushy gets some alone time to cool off and possibly figure things out on her own. Or she'll be comforted by "Mama" Nightmare, and get Calvin's situation explained through "it" or maybe the ghost children will get some screen time. I don't know.Β It's fun to guess out loud about where things might be going, but it's also fun or even funnier to be surprised by a tale's twist and turns too.

Extra:
Do you remember the ending music after the end of Night 6 where the Bite victim sits in front his plushies and they disappear one by one?
I listened to it while rereadeing this comic strip. I think the mood of the music could fit very well with how Plushtrap must feel right now and with the scene too.
The title of the song is also very spot-on with everything in the comic strip.

Ohhhh.... that's why Calvin was so reluctant to go... Aw man... I'd say do a comic split straight down the middle for the next one, halfΒ following Plushy, the other half showing Ian explaining himself to the Nightmares. Go for a parallel kinda. Plushy might end up talking to the kids, who knows. Not my comic, so feel free to do whatever, but to me it seems like that would be the most fitting way to handle the next one.

I'm not really good with layouts or anything, so I'm not sure how to accurately describe what I'm picturing. Maybe we get an extra wide comic for it? I dunno, it's not like I'm trying to force the idea on you, at this point I'm actually trying to figure out how in the holy hell you'd get my idea to work without it being confusing. Damn it brain, why must my ideas sound good, and sound simple inside my head, but either sound really stupid, or really complex once they get outside.

Sorry, but I'm not going to do a double comic.Β Others have suggested the same thing.Β I'd rather focus on one thing, then focus on the other.Β Splitting it would weaken the impact ofΒ both storylines, not to mention being an unholy pain in the arse to draw.

Spring didn't sit back and enjoy the show? Huh...that's what I call an improvement on our favorite killer.
I still feel sorry for Plushtrap. I wonder if the Fredlets feel that way towards Calvin as well?
Who to go to...hmmm, either one would be good. I know you'll probably do both but it's the matter of who do you want to draw first. Beautiful job just like always!
