I don't pay much attention to internet petitions. They don't have a lot of power. How can typing a name and E-mail address in make anything happen? If a petition gets 100 or 1,000 or 10,000 names (which can easily be faked by people typing in lots of names) then will the site in question see it and say "Oh gee, these people don't like me, I'll take my site down now." Or will they say "Thanks for the free publicity" instead.
Don't get me wrong. It ticks me off when people steal others' art and put it on their sites for any purpose. I've seen sellers on eBay using my art on illegal merchandise! (And when I called them on it, they had the nerve to act all surprised and then offer me a discount on said items.) But I don't think signing internet petitions does anything other than give the signers the illusion that they're doing something useful. As a general rule, an action's effectiveness is in direct proportion to the effort it requires.

Thanks, also the petition got the guy taken down and he's gone into hiding,
which is the MP3 site you found, since he's taken down all of the stolen art,
also if you could provide me with a link to the thieves on Ebay I can try to
take them out as I've taken out some thieves before on Alibaba
